The Eleventh International Bordetella Symposium holds in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 5th – 8th, 2016.
It will gather scientists performing basic research on the field, physicians working on clinical aspects and epidemiology, government agencies, decision-makers involved in vaccines development, those who work in defining new vaccination strategies or in policy decisions related to the introduction of new vaccines in public health programs at national or international levels, as well as the representatives of the major vaccine manufacturing pharmaceutical companies.
In a session devoted to Bordetella’s vaccines, Dr. Martine Caroff, CSO and founder of LPS-BioSciences, will present a talk and a poster called “Bordetella pertussis LOS: interest of phenol-free extraction and mass spectrometry methods for vaccine development”.
She will detail the variety of structures that was observed during 40 years of study of the Bordetella family and how innovative methods of extraction without phenol and Mass Spectrometry analysis can help vaccine development and improvement
