At LPS-BioSciences, we use SDS-PAGE to profile lipopolysaccharides and endotoxins and analyze some of their structural properties. 🦠

👩‍🔬This electrophoresis technique, performed on polyacrylamide gel, separates molecules based on their size by applying an electric field across the gel.

👉 To visualize the LPS components, we use a silver nitrate solution, which reveals their positions on the gel.

🪜The outcome is a beautiful ladder-like revelation, as shown in the image above.
