LPS-Biosciences is an innovative Biotech SME established in 2011 with strong expertise in bacterial endotoxins and structural analysis with 40 years of research at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). The company addresses and meets the endotoxins related needs of the biggest industrial groups in human and animal health, cosmetics, agriculture, and agri-food sectors, through service delivery, production, and partnership R&D. As part of the development of our activity in biotechnology and growth of our team, we are looking for a scientific manager. Reporting to the head of laboratory, you will be managing a team of technicians working for our clients. This will include planning and execution of research projects, quality control management, as well as budget of your team. To do this, you will accomplish the following tasks:
Young PhD in analytical biochemistry having a first experience of at least 2 years post-
doctoral or company, and willing to manage a team.

Last November 2020, LPS-BioSciences was laureate of the call for projects “PM’Up Region Île-de-France”. The aim of this funding is to reward companies for their unique vision and soundness of their long-term projects.
The support provided will help LPS-BioSciences improving and expanding its adjuvant know-how in the field of SRAS-Cov-2 vaccines, as well as other infectious diseases ones.
Accordingly, LPS-BioSciences will be able:
- To create a new job position
- To increase bacterial components production useful in the vaccine domain (Lipopolysaccharides, Lipid A, Polysaccharides, Lipoteichoic Acids, MPLA…)
- To increase the volume of endotoxin analyses and removal
- To develop and extend its economic activity by enhancing its website impact
- To diversify its activity through licensing
Martine CAROFF received the European prize for Women Innovators 2019 during the VIVA Technology meeting in Paris. The prize rewards Martine for her scientific career and innovations that enabled the creation of 2 companies, LPS-BIOSCIENCES and HEPHAISTOS-Pharma.
